Description We are looking for a dedicated Inventory Clerk to join our team in Orange, California. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, ideal for someone who thrives in a warehouse environment and can work independently with minimal supervision. The role involves ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining a safe workspace, and supporting the smooth operation of material handling processes. Responsibilities: • Receive and organize incoming materials and supplies in designated storage areas. • Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times. • Prepare and distribute materials as needed for internal and external requests. • Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and workflows. • Enforce compliance with safety protocols and procedures during all tasks. • Track and update inventory records using clerical methods and software tools. • Assist in construction-related inventory management tasks when applicable. • Use steel-toe boots as required for safety in the warehouse environment. Requirements • Previous experience in warehouse or inventory management roles is preferred. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during shifts. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. • Familiarity with basic clerical duties and inventory tracking systems. • Experience in the construction industry is an advantage. • Capable of working independently and taking initiative without constant supervision. • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. • Steel-toe boots required; must provide your own as they are not reimbursed.
