We are a consumer business operating online and in our over 20 retail stores (DC, NYC, Boston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago) – and growing. We operate two manufacturing facilities in Richmond, KY and Winchester, VA that allow us to deliver a high-quality custom product at an affordable price with a quick turnaround. We exist, grow, and ultimately own the market by delighting customers who trust and value us.
Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database. Ensures items are being signed out of inventory properly.
Assists with daily cycle counts and recounts. Maintains non-inventory log.
Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
Compiles supplies needed for our retail stores and packs them for shipment.
Manages and maintains organization with filing of shipping documents.
Flexibility to work overtime for end of month inventory.
Monitors shipping area to ensure customer orders are being shipped on time.
Utilize various computer programs to ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate.
Will work closely with retail stores and our drivers to ensure their questions or concerns are being addressed quickly. Must be comfortable communicating via Slack and phone.
Performs other related duties as directed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable with computers, cell phones, and RF scanners.
Basic understanding of/or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
Experience with NetSuite, Bringg, Slack, Microsoft Office, or Google a plus.
Forklift and driving experience a plus.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least two years of work experience in a warehouse required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
Ability to move around the warehouse.
