Job Summary
This position performs shipping/receiving and supply aircraft parts, materials, supplies and special tooling to support the Company’s maintenance and aircraft operations. Ensures the integrity of the inventory by recording all parts & supplies entering and leaving the inventory storeroom, and performing periodic inventory counts and reconciliations. Safeguards all inventory by maintaining inventory controls and ensuring stock rooms and inventory locations are organized, clean and safe.
The classification of this position is broad and assigned specific functional areas; duties and assignments may overlap depending on the operational needs of the department.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
Ships/receives, inspects, stores, tracks, and distributes parts & supplies to the maintenance stations (direct inventory requisitions for assigned base and transfer items to the “satellite” locations, as required). Ensure all items Parts, materials & supplies are received in accordance with FAR Part 145.211 and the Company’s Repair Station & Quality Control Manual procedures, as applicable.Maintains the integrity of the inventory system by:Accurately recording and entering all inventory transactions in the MX Manager system for Purchase & Service Orders [PO’s & SO’s], Work Orders (WO’s) and Inventory updates and/or warehouse transfers. Properly identifying, coding, tagging and tracking all inventory items in accordance with company policy and procedures.For all inventory items added, issued or transferred, enters the correct inventory data information, codes to the proper WOs in MX Manager (which concurrently relieves inventory).Performing periodic inventory counts and reconciliations.Matching shipping/receiving documents against POs & SOs and resolving all discrepancies with the Purchasing Agent, vendor and/or Accounting in a timely manner.Maintains the inventories and storerooms in a clean, safe and orderly condition. Properly codes all parts & supplies to ensure accurate inventory tracking, and stores inventories so that they can be quickly and easily located.Coordinates the availability and timely transfer, including transportation, of parts & supplies requested by the “satellite” maintenance stations. Receives all parts for repair shipped from the “satellite base” locations.Regularly communicate with the Logistic Parts Manager for compliance with assigned duties and the overall operation of the parts department, inventory and shipping / receiving.Assists the maintenance department with planning and scheduling parts and materials shipments to and from satellite base locations, maintaining inventory control processes and procedures to ensure continued integrity of the inventory at satellite bases.Other duties as assignedAdditional Job Requirements

Education & Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience One to two years previous experience as an inventory or accounting clerk; previous experience in an aircraft maintenance environment preferred.Skills
Position requires excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, attention to detail and accuracy.Good verbal communication skillsGood supervisory and organizational skills.Ability to operate a forklift a plus.Ability to comply with company and regulatory rules and regulations.Must have the ability to develop instructions and procedures and to work independently.Working knowledge of computerized purchase order/work order/inventory control systems.Computer Skills
