Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in the industry located in Cordova, Tennessee, United States. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be instrumental in ensuring our warehouse maintains optimal efficiency by assisting with various inventory tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to assemble items efficiently and accurately
• Responsible for the boxing of items, ensuring they are ready for shipment or storage
• Assist in locating and gathering items within the warehouse as required
• Provide excellent customer service when dealing with inquiries or issues
• Utilize lifting skills to move and organize inventory effectively
• Ensure all inventory related tasks are carried out in compliance with company policies and procedures. Requirements • The applicant must possess excellent customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders such as suppliers, colleagues, and customers.
• The applicant should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving items as part of inventory management.
• The applicant should have a strong understanding of inventory control systems and processes, ensuring efficient inventory management.
• The applicant must have the ability to accurately record and maintain inventory data, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.
• The applicant should be able to identify discrepancies in inventory and report them promptly and accurately.
• The applicant must possess strong organizational skills to manage and monitor multiple inventory items concurrently.
• The applicant should have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
• The applicant must have the ability to adhere to safety procedures and guidelines while performing inventory tasks.
• The applicant should possess basic computer skills, enabling efficient use of inventory management software and tools.
