To ensure the smooth flow and completion inventory control tasks. Inventory clerks have the role of making sure that all stock/inventory is accounted for and is ready for shipment. The inventory clerk will ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining accurate and efficient inventory workflow.
Responsibilities Stock and organize materials from receiving Accurately and efficiently scan picking lists for internal tech orders Print certificates for external sales orders Generate, maintain, and update stock locations Participate in the active physical inventory process Compare incoming physical parts to receiving log for accuracy, ensuring there are no discrepancies Separate piece parts, reworks, and LRUs by specific shop Distribute parts to storage locations, repackaging as necessary and relocating if required by space constraints Promptly identify and deliver critical parts on back order Accurately and efficiently scan requested orders for shops, creating a data log for pricing, traceability, and inventory Utilizing provided applicators for accuracy and order completion Deliver completed orders to designated areas in each shop Pull, package, and prepare certifications for external sales orders Generate, maintain, and update stock locations Participate in the cycle count process Participate in upholding 5 S standards Competencies Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED with 1-3 years of experience in inventory control; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous inventory control experience in a warehouse or repair facility is preferred. Knowledge of inventory control systems Good verbal and written skills Ability to operate across various teams; excellent interpersonal skills a must Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide Ability to respond to general inquiries or complaints Ability to effectively present information to leadership Ability to follow FAA standards and guidelines Ability to recognize inconsistencies and discrepancies Ability to multitask and work through potentially stressful situationsPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
