Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in Portage, Wisconsin. This role operates within the industry, where the main focus lies on managing warehouse operations, auditing equipment, maintaining relationships with customers, vendors, and transportation entities, and effectively managing the inventory. Responsibilities: • Effectively oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring optimal utilization of warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor space. • Conduct regular audits on equipment, processes, and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. • Handle third-party warehousing coordination as required. • Foster positive employee relations within the team. • Keep track of metrics related to both on and off-site operations including shipment errors on product shortages and damaged product. • Uphold detail-oriented relationships with customers, vendors, transportation entities, and corporate personnel while resolving any arising complaints. • Uphold safety, loss control, food safety, and quality systems. • Lead the planning and implementation of efficient transportation methods for ingredients, packaging, and finished product to and from the facility. • Communicate policy and procedure changes effectively, provide operational updates, and address safety and quality concerns. • Conduct investigations, analyze for root cause, promptly report, and suggest corrective actions. • Maintain accurate inventories in the ERP system, monitor usage, and resolve any discrepancies. • Oversee physical inventory counts. • Handle off-duty emergency calls that cannot be resolved within the department. • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Knowledge of ERP implementation Expertise in ERP Solutions is expected.. Experience in Auditing is necessary.
