Inventory Clerk III

General Description\n

Records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced.\n

Duties\n\nEnsures compliance with established internal control procedures.\nCheck for damages, unpack and perform quality and quantity checks on manufacturer shipment.\nReceive and enter verification data for inventory in DELTEK- CostPoint.\nPrepare, verify and organize material receipt documentation for Quality Assurance inspection. \nPerform cycle counts of product inventory annually.\nProperly label product locations.\nAssemble and prepare production kits utilizing pick list and scanners as directed.\nMake adjustments to inventory in database, if applicable, as requested.\nResponsible for Controlling Customer and Government Property\nCheck Shipping Request Daily\nPackage and prepare materials for shipment and prepare appropriate shipping documentation.\nHandle all aspects of shipping. Schedule freight shipments for pickup utilizing appropriate shipping company computer interface.\nMust be flexible to accept work assignments in different areas as needed and required.\nHas knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.\nRelies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.\nPrimary functions do not require exercising independent judgment.\nOther Duties as Assigned\n\n

Education\/Experience Requirements\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n4-6 years' experience\nGood verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to leverage available resources to accomplish objectives.\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n
