Inventory Control Analyst

Job Description:The Inventory Control Analyst responsibilities include implementing and monitoring procedures to ensure an adequate supply of product to service customer needs while minimizing working inventory investment by assessing demand activity. The Analyst will reflect demand changes in our planning systems to ensure high accuracy of forecast needs and ensure accuracy in inventory records, item usage history, and forecasting files. The position also serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
This individual will be a subject matter expert in cycle counts within a warehouse or off-site location to identify and eliminate problems found in the counts and/or workflow.
Position works primarily with logistics, procurement, category management and hospital/departmental leadership to create effective processes designed to reduce supply expenditures and improve distribution efficiencies.

-2 to 3 years’ experience in analysis with emphasis on inventory management, product/category management, or retail forecasting.

Education Qualifications:

-Bachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business or related field.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

-Mastery of Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)-Demonstrated supply chain experience working in partnership with transportation, distribution, purchasing, supplier management, and/or inventory management.

-Solid understanding of Master Data and Databases, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP)
