Inventory Control Associate - 2nd shift

Shift: Monday - Thursday

          3:30PM - 2AM

 

Job Summary  

​​Inventory Control Associates are responsible for monitoring inventory accuracy and reconciling discrepancies between physical counts and company Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Other responsibilities include efficient use of WMS to evaluate product inventories, measuring and weighing products, organizing products according to protocols, reporting inconsistent or damaged goods, and converting unsellable inventory into available product. Inventory Control Team Associates will also recommend strategies to enhance inventory procedures and participate in current 5S standards.​

Representative Responsibilities  

Utilize WMS effectively to conduct daily cycle counts, investigate errors/discrepancies, and cross referencing all data points for inventory integrity/order availability  

Effectively investigate and correct discrepancies found during cycle counts and adjust inventory in WMS when issues are resolved  

Demonstrate a high level of system accuracy  

Identify issues and provide solutions to road blocks, resulting in improvements to department processes and procedures 

Record and report all errors and discrepancies including internal process failures and external vendor compliance   

Function as a support liaison to all departments in processing of current orders and improvement opportunities 

Inspect, label, package, and process inventory from returns into active/sellable inventory 

Sort and ensure returns inventory is assigned and transferred to correct warehouse designations (RCV vs 3PL) 

Responsible for the timely reporting of problems in the work area to appropriate personnel as well as maintaining 5S, housekeeping, safety, and preventative guidelines 

Ensure each job performed is within set procedural inventory standards and conforms to all requirements of internal and external customers. Certified through formal observation and feedback process. 

 

Required Education  

High school diploma or GED 

 

Required Skills & Experience  

Applicant must have good attention to detail and be able to work independently 

Effective time management and analytical/problem solving skills 

Effective written/verbal skills, and using simple math  

Experience with warehousing processes preferred 

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Warehouse Management Systems experience preferred
