Our client in the Round Rock, Texas area is looking to hire an Inventory Control Clerk for their location. The ideal candidate will need proven systems experience as an inventory manager or a similar position. Responsibilities include software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory – Oracle, proprietary, MS Dynamics, database management, etc.

The Day-to-Day:

Devise ways to optimize inventory control proceduresInspect the levels of business supplies and raw materials to identify shortagesEnsure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customersReporting - daily ins/outs, reconciliation of inventory, etcAnalyze data to anticipate future needsCollaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are metReport to upper management on stock levels, issues, etc.

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaExcellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methodsWorking knowledge of inventory management software (ERP, etc)Ability to accurately track inventory and create reportsAn analytical mind with strong math skillsExcellent organizational and planning skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesReliable and trustworthyExperience in logistics or relevant fieldRelevant qualifications (APICS, etc) will be a plus

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$17.00 to $18.50 /hrMonday to Friday8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
