For a complete description of our benefits for this position, **click here.** **Harborview Medical Center** has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time **Inventory Control Coordinator** . **WORK SCHEDULE** + 100% FTE + Monday – Friday + Day Shift **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** **UW Medicine Supply Chain Management** is a shared services department for all UW Medicine spanning Harborview, UW Medical Center-Montlake, UW Medical Center-Northwest and numerous primary and specialty care clinics, and delivers a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise. **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** + Organize and lead staff in conducting periodic inventory counts, adjusting quantities and locations, and recording and reporting discrepancies to management + Responsible for procedural area inventories (Cath Lab, IR, EP Lab, Endo) and respective Point of Use systems for Harborview Medical Center **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + Assist implementation of system wide collaborative systems utilizing distribution partners to improve inventory turns and reduce facility redundancies in supply logistics and warehouse operations + Ensure system compliance for Joint Commission Accreditation and other regulatory bodies for storage and delivery of supplies as well as recalled or suspended inventory products + Partner with Supply Chain leadership and UW Medicine management to reduce expenses, standardize inventory control and cycle counting strategies, provide appropriate financial controls and management + Leadership and oversight for inventory related projects, leveraging strengths-based leadership to effectively motivate, lead, provide meaningful feedback, developer others and maximize employee engagement + Optimize Materials Management Information Systems and other supply chain automation tools to summarize, report, present, dashboards and analytics of supply chain performance **REQUIREMENTS** + Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business or Logistics/Supply Chain Management required + Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements + Minimum 2 years of Supply Chain Management or Finance experience required **ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER** As the region's only Level I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine.
