Inventory Control Coordinator
Shift and status

Full time, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., variable days and weekends.

Job Summary

Reviews and analyzes data and develops reports to summarize inventory control data. Acts as a resource to staff, managers, and

other departments related to area of specialty.

Essential FunctionsDevelops and generates reports or forms and distributes to appropriate people, monitoring information for accuracy and completeness.Communicates, collaborates and acts as a consultant to staff, management and other departments in order to educate and ensure continuity and coordination of services.Analyzes data to maintain appropriate inventory levels and reorder points to maximize inventory turns.Reviews stock outages on a daily basis.Manages the cycle count process on a daily basis.Analyzes monthly reports to identify low usage items and facilitate the removal of them in conjunction with purchasing.Analyzes stocking locations to ensure appropriate space is allocated in all warehouse locations.Ensures that required documentation for activities within areas of responsibility is performed in an accurate and timely manner. Demonstrates knowledge of hospital safety and infection control policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean environment.Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent2 years of relevant experience in inventory management or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Preferred

Prior transport experienceCRT-HI-LO Certification
