Inventory Control Coordinator
Overview JOB SUMMARY: Coordinates and manages day-to-day product ordering and inventory levels to ensure that GSF objectives for customer satisfaction are met. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: + Calculates and places orders to ensure product is available for customer orders. (30%) + Monitors inventory levels, reviewing and adjusting open orders to ensure maintenance of optimal inventory levels. (15%) + Coordinates and collaborates with vendors and carriers to resolve product and transportation issues and problems. (10%) + Takes physical inventory using a handheld computer. (10%) + Gathers, reviews, and disseminates new product information and product changes to internal departments to ensure accurate product information. (10%) + Coordinates backhaul, and linehaul activity, including assigning loads and communicating changes to outside carriers, to maximize benchmark freight revenue. (10%) + Calculates prices on products to ensure proper vendor payments and accurate prices for customers. (5%) + Maintains product and vendor records in the DOS 2000 system. (5%) + Monitors and maintains GPM reporting for McDonalds. (5%) + Performs other related or assigned duties as necessary. LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY Not applicable.
