Under the direction of the Global Planner, the Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for inventory tracking & movement, cycling counting, SAP transactions and, production control monitoring via internal tools and consumable products ordering. Will help manage and control inventory levels supporting customer and business needs. Provides support to all operations, accounting and IT regarding inventory issues. The position requires direct involvement with daily operations and future material demands to assure the activities support business goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages and conducts physical inventory audits as well as weekly cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of inventory records and reconcile any discrepancies.
Develop procedures & work instructions for all aspects of inventory control.Develop Weekly/Monthly reports on inventory levels and residency times to assist with driving down inventory and reducing lease costs.Leverage SAP to improve our processes and tracking and closely work with IT to improve our systems.Lead projects as they arise.Leads the annual Physical Inventory’s and Reconciliation.Oversee and maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods, as well as material at vendors. Manage and audit inventory at vendors.
Analyze SAP inventory reports and data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Drive alignment across capacity, production, and inventory planning.
Facilitate scrap and material management in the S&OP process.
Operations RMAP Lead – Conflict Mineral Certification/Documentation. Provide information as required in monthly meetings.Work with vendors streamline scrap processing process.

Qualifications:
Associates degree in finance or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in related industry.Three - five years of experience working with vendors and suppliers. Metals Industry experience a plus. Five - ten years of manufacturing experience. Understands financial methods and adept at numeric analysis. Structured – develops procedures and standard methods. Required knowledge of SAP transactions (moving, receiving, and reconciling material).Knowledge of Top-Down (sales forecast) and Bottom-Up Planning
