The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for coordinating many of the inventory activities within the warehouse.
Position Details - Responsibilities
Motivate and lead a team of Inventory Control Associates including material handlers, inventory control clerks and salaried NX employees. Meet daily requirements by coordinating employee placement. Help to achieve the highest level of accuracy in the facility. Develop and train employees on basic warehouse practices with a strong emphasis on safety, housekeeping, leadership, quality, and accuracy. Maintain a high level of inventory and accuracy and control. Create and maintain SOP for all elements of the IC team and responsibilities creating foundation for document control and standardization. Enforce policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective operations Supervise and control the accurate production receipt, issuance, and storage of all inventory to minimize operating costs Develop and manage assigned projects Maintain strong leadership presence by active involvement in Inventory Control activities Communicate effectively with employees, peers, other departments and management team

Flexible to work any shift Ability to work overtime as needed Visual aptitude – must be able to see with or without correction Communication – ability to communicate verbally or non-verbally Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds Ability to perform standing job for 12 consecutive hours Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach, and grasp for varying periods of time during a consecutive 12 hour period.
