The Role
Your mission is to maintain the organizations inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements.
As the Inventory Control Specialist, you will report to Mike Jovanovich, Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Supervisor.
Position Responsibilities:
You will maintain computer automated and physical inventory and management systems to ensure inventory matches
You will Investigate/correct inventory discrepancies.
You will be responsible for stocking ,verification of received items to their proper bin/stock location.
You will Participate in an ongoing basis in routine inventory cycle counts.
You will partner with other departments to resolve inventory issues.
You will review material orders, expedite orders, analyze usage, and help determine inventory levels.
You will evaluate/identify/report excess and obsolete materials.
You will move materials to different areas.
You will compare identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
You will unpack and examine incoming shipments, rejects/reports damaged items, and record shortages.
You will perform unpacking of shipment deliveries, enter product into computer inventory system and store in proper warehouse location.
You will work with transportation carriers regarding incoming and outgoing product shipments.
You will follow established safety procedures and wear required safety equipment.
You will support in the maintaining and improving the QMS and ISO 9001 certification.

You have a high school diploma or equivalent
You have 3 or more years' experience a manufacturing or distribution operations
You have good task management experience.
You have knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control procedures.
You are proficient using computer software designed for inventory systems
You have Forklift experience.
You can use hand and power tools.
You can manually lift up to 50lbs or use power lifting equipment.
You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language.
