Responsible for tracking inventory and stock changes, which includes overseeing inventory control, inspecting inventory, and maintaining stock levels. Other duties will include reporting discrepancies to management, looking for inventory discrepancies, creating reports, and completing cycle counts and physical inventory. The individual will use a pallet jack and other powered industrial equipment to move products within the facilityEssential Functions:
Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortagesProvide inventory reports to Purchasing and OperationsComplete inventory counts regularlyReconcile inventory counts to ensure accuracyAssist with inventory audits and other special projectsRequired Skills
Forklift and Reach Truck experience required2-3 years experience in inventory control or related fieldExperience with an inventory management systemExtremely organized and able to work with minimum supervisionExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent math and analytical skillsPhysical ability to stand for long periodsPhysical ability to lift 20 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionallyPhysical Requirements (any specific physical attributes or limiting factors to be accounted for):
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend a large majority of time walking, standing, and using hands to push/pull.
