Role Definition:
Checks, stores and tracks incoming and outgoing inventory items.
Responsibilities:
+ Performing check-ins and check-outs. Verifying order completeness and inspecting for damages.
+ Coordinating special or expedites orders; handling returns and exchanges of inventory items.
+ Maintaining computerized inventory records and reporting on inventory levels and activity. Entering new items.
+ Providing support to sales, purchasing and operations.
Degree Requirement:
+ Degree or equivalent experience desired

Core Application Systems: Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.
Level Working Knowledge:
+ Helps create contingency plans to mitigate impact of disruption on core applications.
+ Identifies key players, criticalities, roles, and responsibilities.
+ Investigates application-related issues with both business and IT professionals.
+ Recommends enhancements for a major application system or related subsystems.
+ Works with core application systems for a major business unit or function.
Information Capture: Knowledge of the methods, channels and processes to obtain needed information; ability to identify, capture and document relevant business information in an auditable, organized, understandable and easily retrievable manner.

+ Ensures that the inventory is at an appropriate level and meets both internal and external requirements.
+ Devises standard inventory management benchmarks to improve the processes.
+ Provides guidance on inventory management for a specific product group or location.
+ Applies systems and processes to identify and coordinate inventory requirements; resolves conflicts.
+ Coordinates daily work of inventory management for different locations within a facility or a supply network.
+ Reviews reports used for inventory management to find out related problems.
Materials Handling and Management: Knowledge of material handling and management in plants; ability to perform, monitor and improve processes related to storage, transportation and handling of raw and hazardous materials.
Level Working Knowledge:
+ Assists in the responding of and dealing with emergency issues related in materials handling.
+ Works with the packaging and storage of inbound or outbound materials.
+ Performs the packing, shipping, identifying and transporting of materials.
+ Explains key environmental issues for handling hazardous goods.
+ Follows procedures to handle hazardous materials, hazardous substances and pollutants.
