What You'll Do
As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will directly impact the administrative excellence and innovation at our Clifton facility.
Coordinate the purchase of certain hard goods and services. Enter purchase requisitions into SAP and performs goods and service receipts. Report monthly safety and regulatory data into required systems. Track vacation, floating holidays, and sick time for all site employees. Coordinate monthly cycle counting for raw materials and finished products. Help maintain production batch sheets, operational SOP’s, and other related documents in Clifton’s Procedures Web. Assists all areas of the site with administrative functions as required. Coordinate incoming calls on the main line. Coordinate with Customer Assistance and Customer Service on the shipment of samples from the site. Coordinate internal sample requirements with various functions within Lubrizol. Coordinate with the Plant Manager and/or Warehouse Manager on the filling of samples to meet orders. Prepare FedEx paperwork and coordinates the pickup of samples.
What We're Looking For
A self-starter who works well independently and in a team environment. Someone proficient in the English language including reading and writing. Someone proficient in math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Someone who follows all site safety procedures and policies. Someone who upholds a positive attitude that demonstrates Lubrizol’s accountable culture and ethics philosophy.
Skills That Make a Difference
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to complete training on multi-modal shipment of hazardous goods. Previous experience with SAP. A minimum of two years of experience in an office environment.
