Join our dynamic team as an Inventory Control Technician and play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records and streamlining our operations. You will handle critical tasks such as cycle counting, claims management, and accounts administration, while ensuring our facility’s inventory is well-organized and optimized. Your efforts will directly contribute to our success in delivering excellence to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records for inventory, purchasing, and shipping activities.
• Data Organization: Compile and organize information from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and reports.
• Stock Monitoring: Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment needs to maintain optimal inventory.
• Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues related to damages, inventory adjustments, and shrinkage.
• Cycle Counts: Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in comprehensive physical inventories.
• Order Verification: Verify shipping orders using stock numbers, pallet IDs, and other references.
• Surplus Management: Identify unused or excess items and recommend disposal or reallocation.
Additional Duties:
• Operate warehouse equipment to safely move products, adhering to all safety standards and company policies.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience: Prior experience in inventory management or related fields is preferred.
• Computer Skills: Comfortable using computers, sending emails, and utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn inventory management systems.
• MHE Experience: Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is preferred but not required.
• Adaptable: Willingness to work in both cold storage (down to -20°F/-25°C) and dry storage (up to 100°F/37°C) environments with provided protective gear.
• Physically Capable: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. (specific requirements may vary by facility).
• Flexible Schedule: Availability to work weekends and adapt to scheduling needs.
• Communication Skills: Ability to understand and follow instructions in the facility’s official language.
