The Inventory Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory within the company, ensuring accurate and timely records, optimizing stock levels, and minimizing inventory-related costs. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Inventory Management:Maintain accurate inventory records across all locations, including raw materials, internal assemblies, and consumables.Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.Develops employee awareness and competencies relating to cycle counting, inventory control and contingency planning.Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including shortages, overages, and damages.Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices to minimize losses and improve efficiency.Analyze inventory levels and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize stock levels.Develop and implement inventory forecasting and planning strategies to meet demand and minimize stockouts.Order Fulfillment:Coordinate with the procurement department as needed to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock to meet customer demand and production schedules.Collaborate with production and sales teams to ensure smooth inventory flow and timely delivery.Data Analysis and Reporting:Generate and analyze inventory reports.Prepare and present reports to management on inventory performance and key metrics.Identify and analyze trends and patterns in inventory data to inform decision-making.System Maintenance:Maintain and update inventory management systems with accurate and timely data.Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to inventory management.Assist in the implementation and integration of new inventory management technologies.Continuous Improvement:Continuously evaluate and propose potential improvements to inventory control processes and procedures.Identify and implement cost-saving measures related to inventory management.Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in inventory management. Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.5 years of experience in inventory control or a related field.

Qualification Requirements:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent data analysis and reporting skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management softwareStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented and organizedAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with ERP and/or WMS systems preferred

Physical Requirements:
