Position OverviewThe Inventory Control/Quality Assurance (IC/QA) Rep III - Reporting & Analysis will process, report and analyze various inventory related functions for an assigned group of warehouses, including customer returns & credits, product receipt from vendors, inventory movements between locations and random weight allocations. Responsibilities also include the preparation of recurring reporting and analysis of inventory shrink (reduction) and quality assurance functions (audit).

Job Description

Research, release/void and monitor pending credits, including Liaison with customer and sales departmentsGather information from operational groups, ICQA teamLog daily findings/daily executed credits to assist in the weekly warehouse scorecard Create and distribute the daily credit reports for assigned warehousesOversee all aspects of random weight allocation transactions and their impact on shrinkResearch and identify errors, resolve via billings/payments to customers/vendorsReview and audit process for receiving product for all C&S facilitiesIdentify, research, and resolve vendor claims to ensure proper payment is made to the vendor, any inventory adjustments required are made, report issues weekly to the warehouses and management on vendor claimsReview adjustments and reconcile with vendor return documentation, provide documentation to vendors and to AP, send AP upload to AP to process deductions. Validate that return is accounted for correctly.Research and resolve incomplete or erroneous information to prepare data for use in analysisPrepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly reports across numerous inventory-related areas on an accurate and timely basis including: Shrink including errors related to weight variancesCustomer and vendor claims, including standard credit (automatic credit % based on internal measures)Audit results for warehouse processes, including for customer shipment and product receiptInvestigate and resolve customer claims for short shipment and product quality, involving:Identify claim requiring action in database system and contact customer to obtain details Gather documentation and evidence necessary to analyze situation and record in database, including determining whether credit should be granted based on informationCommunicate decision to customer and manage closure and resolution as appropriate, different actions including providing guidance and training to junior representatives in reporting & applied analysis team and peersAssist in review and validation of data and analysis Enable sufficient information and knowledge sharing to ensure continuity when absentTravel Required:No
