The Inventory Coordinator coordinates and monitors all aspects of supply/inventory and patient billing management for assigned departments. Working under general supervision, this role helps ensure that all departments have the required amount of products to treat patients on a daily basis. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Cath Lab experience is preferred.

 

 

 Assists the Director in analyzing, submitting, and reviewing proposals for product additions or changes.Ensures there is an adequate daily supply of inventory by controlling additions, deletions, and modifications of inventory and procedures.Assists with pro-actively identifying product substitutions that need to be ordered and keeping staff and physicians aware of back-ordered equipment in order to ensure adequate product supply in the department.Supports with creating daily supply orders and maintaining receipts in order to track orders.Supports with handling expired equipment and assigning the appropriate pickup or exchange for them with vendors in order to get new equipment.Coordinates demos/trials and implementation of new products and technologies.Coordinates the setup of procedures and equipment for the appropriate inventory/financial systems for all departments.Performs other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION:Required: High School Diploma

 

EXPERIENCE:Required: 2 years of related experience.
