Overview

Manage local inventory and work with planning, production, and field operations to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely kitting of parts in a highly dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Maintains an exceptionally organized, accurate, and secure inventory,Processes material transactions with a high degree of accuracy,Stocks highly sensitive components in a manner that eliminates risk of damaged parts,Maintains KanBan of critical components and alerts Purchasing or Production when parts reach minimum quantities,Creates and maintains stockroom inventory locations in MRP system,Maintains an accurate inventory with minimal cycle count variances,Performs monthly physical inventory counts and reports that information to Accounting,Acts as a backup in shipping department, and other areas as assigned,Practices Lean inventory management conceptsReceives pick lists, efficiently and accurately kits, and releases completed kits to production floor, within an ESD environment,Communicates frequently with Production Planning and Scheduling in order to respond to rapidly changing field demand

Experience

High School Diploma and Inventory Management experience,Experience with electronic assemblies in an ESD compliant environment a plus,

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to pay close attention to detail,Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment,Ability to maintain a working knowledge of many part numbers, descriptions, and bills of materials,Continuous improvement mentality,Excellent written and verbal communication skills,Intermediate MS Excel skills.
