Inventory Coordinator

ASSA ABLOY is expanding our Logistics team. We are looking for an Inventory Coordinator to add to our regional manufacturing facility or Service Center located in Kent, Washington.

What would you do as our Inventory Coordinator?

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, updating, investigating, and analysing inventory records. You will assist management in making decisions regarding inventory balances, inventory control processes, and process improvements. You will also help by performing cycle counts to validate and improve inventory accuracy and control.

 

You would also:

Regularly track and report inventory accuracies Perform daily, weekly and/or monthly updates of the inventory system to reflect inventory moves, usages, shipments, error corrections, etc.  Perform cycle counts regularly. Compare actual counts to perpetual inventory records.  Make system entries or corrections and document discrepancies Work across the organization to investigate and determine the root cause of inventory errors and how to correct Partner with Management to analyze results, investigate discrepancies, as well as how to improve inventory control processes Perform basic consumption estimates Participate in the annual physical inventories Ability to work overtime when needed Perform special assignments and projects as assigned Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct Other duties as assigned.

 

The Skills and Experience you need:

High School diploma or GED equivalent required Minimum of 3 years of direct work experience in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of inventory systems and/or processes Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, follow-up and a high comfort level balancing multiple priorities or projects simultaneously Must excel working in a fast-paced environment Previous experience/exposure working within Metal Fabrication, Hollow Metal, Door or Building Materials industries are highly desirable

 

Compensation: $27.00 - $31.00 Hourly, depending on experience
