77360BRJob Posting Title:Inventory Coordinator & Transporter (Martha Eliot Health Center)Department:Ambulatory Services- Martha Eliot Health CentersAutoReqId:77360BRStatus:Full-TimeStandard Hours per Week:32 Job Posting Category:AdministrationJob Posting Description:The Inventory Coordinator & Transporter will be responsible for: + Ordering, receiving and distributing medical and office supplies, and/or equipment at Martha Eliot Health Center. + Maintaining an inventory that allows for efficient distribution of supplies. + Ensuring the supply area is stocked in all clinical and office areas, as well as assessing and improving flow of supplies. + Frequently coordinating with the Nurse or designee to perform inventory counts and verify that quantities at hand match what the inventory report says should be in stock. + Maintaining a supply of linens and lab coats and readiness of office equipment. + Receiving, sorting, distributing and conducting an inventory of office mail and clinic supplies. + Identifying, analyzing and addressing gaps in the inventory process. + Ensuring all documentation related to inventory flow is complete, accurate and filed correctly. + Providing safe and efficient transportation of inventory and mail to and from BCH locations. + Ensuring needed materials and equipment are set up for clinic events. + Anticipating the maintenance needs of the van and ensuring the van is clean and has gas and oil. + Anticipating the maintenance and cleanliness of office equipment. + Following Hospital and MEHC policies and procedures. + Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the MEHC building. + Performing other duties as needed. + Supporting the Administration with additional requests as needed. To qualify, you must have: + Valid Driver’s License required. + High school diploma / GED required. + One year of supply chain, warehouse and distribution experience required. + Working knowledge/familiarity with basic medical terminology is preferred. + Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations, geography, and layout of working areas including street names and medical facilities’ locations. + Ability to use GPS devices. + Excellent oral, written and basic math skills and must demonstrate problem solving abilities. + Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. + Ability to work with various purchasing, ordering, and supply systems. + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. + MS Office knowledge and experience.
