Overview
The primary purpose of this position is to receive freight in a safe manner while minimizing damage to product and properly receiving inventory into QAD. In addition, this position will assist with the operation of the Finger Jointer machine. This includes but is not limited to feeding, tailing, assisting the operator during changeovers, and chopping cutbacks.

Obtain forklift certificationFollow all forklift rules and safety regulationsUnload trailers safely and securelyMake sure all units are tagged and banded securely before placing material in baysProperly carry loads at a safe speed per forklift trainingMaintain safety around pedestrians and work center personnelKeep bays of material in order and organized and safeMaintain good communication with other lift drivers on common, as well as off shiftsMaster all RF and QAD functions related to material handlingPerform end of shift work center audits and notify supervision and inventory control of issuesDevelop an understanding of how blanks produced are associated with the products Endura makesEnsure that guarding is in place and in good conditionLearn the Finger Jointer production process and machines associated with productionFollow directions from the lead, machine operator, and supervisorMeet or exceed efficiency goal for grading and feeding the machineGrade and stack blanks safely and efficientlyAssist the operator with changeoversLearn to operate the Chop Saw safely and efficiently to assist with cutbacksFollow Lock Out/Tag Out proceduresPerform all quality checksExercise excellent housekeeping and organization habitsAssist with preventative maintenance on equipmentReport any forklift damage, building damage, and machine problems immediatelyObserve all safety rules and regulationsWear PPE during the entire shiftWhat you will need:
