As an intern at Berry Global in the Consumer Packaging North America Division, you will participate in our Summer 2025 Leadership Series where you will have the opportunity to meet and learn from business leaders from across the organization. This role will gain exposure to both inventory and finance to develop, implement, and manage procedures and protocols. This intern will act as a valuable liaison between the inventory department and its main internal customers, including but not limited to quality, logistics, supply chain, customer service and the production departments. This role will also work directly with our finance team to track, support, and provide various analysis for the company.
Responsibilities Assist in overseeing and ensuring accuracy of all raw material and finished goods inventory.Maintain weekly corrugate and packaging cycle count programs.Provide reconciliations and detailed analysis of various accountsSupport proper allocations to and analysis of the company’s product linesTrack production and sales statisticsAssist in the reconciliation of resin and regrind weekly and for month end physical inventory.Assist in the monitoring of monthly raw material and finished goods, slow moving inventory and facilitate disposition as needed.Recommend process improvements for inventory.Assist with monthly and quarterly cycle counts of all production locations.Track and analyze departmental spending; drive accuracy and consistency of departmental reporting.Assist with reporting for the Vendor Consigned Inventory Program.Product cost and margin analysis to help maintain accuracy of the standard manufacturing costsAssist with Quarterly Mock Recalls for the site and assist with Product Crisis Management Team.Manage tracking of cost improvement projects and associated savingsAssist with the plant site Product Data Management tasks Qualifications Pursuing degree in Finance or Business ManagementInterest in working in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not requiredComputer familiarity with proficiency in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) required.Interest in warehousing, inventory control, and production flow is preferred.#LI-LS2
