The Inventory Integrity Analyst will assist several manufacturing locations in performing and observing inventory reconciliations and resolving count discrepancies. This position will also help improve facility inventory management processes and system transaction accountability. The Inventory Integrity Analyst will work with various departments at the facilities to drive development of cycle count programs and assess performance.
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for inventory related processes
Collaborate with facility personnel to drive best practices in terms of receiving, shipping, and inventory management that support the achievement of inventory accuracy goals
Audit inventory transactions for accuracy and timeliness
Facilitate formal problem solving, root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions for all inventory discrepancies or related process failures including transaction history research
Assist in training facility personnel on standard inventory processes
Collaborate with facility personnel regarding disposal or alternate use of out-of-date and repurposed material.
Provide discrepancy reporting that provides the quantity and value of lost or missing inventory and report to appropriate management
Participate in month end inventory reconciliation and reporting the results
Passionate about quality standards and continuous improvement
Other assigned duties
Qualifications
3-5 years of manufacturing experience. Inventory or materials area preferred.
Computer Literacy – strong Microsoft Excel skills, manipulation of data for analysis. Willingness to learn.
Experience working with ERP software (SAP preferred)
Excellent communication skills – written & oral, and ability to interface with various levels of management
Experience in delivering training and communication of company, government and customer policies, procedures, and regulations
Experience in identifying root causes of issues and implementing data-driven, scalable solutions
Experience in process effectiveness and efficiency improvements
Experience in managing competing priorities simultaneously
Located in the United States for proximity to mill locations
Education
High School diploma required
College degree or specialized training in business, materials management or finance preferred
Work Environment This position will be remote, working in a home office environment with travel to manufacturing facilities
