The Opportunity
This position will work out of our Plano, TX sites in the Neuromodulation division. Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.
As the INVENTORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST, you will be responsible for management and analysis of Abbott owned inventory held in the control of the US Sales Representatives. This role is critical to supplying commercial customers with on time inventory to support sales forecasts while maintaining accurate inventory. This role ensures that an appropriate level of reporting data is accurately updated and available to the commercial partners to facilitate cross functional inventory control processes.
What You’ll Work On
Responsible for maintaining and balancing inventory for US Field Inventory to support established weeks on hand targets, while minimizing the occurrence of backorders.
Maintains and Creates Microsoft tools related to US Field Inventory levels and processes including but not limited to Power BI reporting, Power Apps, Microsoft Flow.
Responsible for managing excess/obsolete, short-dated/expired, and quarantined inventory to minimize financial impact and adhere to Quality/Compliance requirements.
Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the US inventory cycle count program.
Analyze inventory loss & damage inventory data to reconcile monthly network reports and makes decisions/recommendations.
Responsible for managing network destructs and minimize year over year impacts.
Drive RCA/CAPA/Process Mapping and aligning all cross-functional internal & external teams to drive toward sustainable process improvements related to inventory.
Manages internal and external audit programs related to inventory.
Manages divisional quality hold events at the US Field Inventory locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
Technical diploma
Minimum 4 years
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Finance or General Business related fields.
Previous experience in supply chain/inventory management experience; reporting experience, or project management experience.
Excellent judgment, strong analytical, data driven problem-solving skills and modeling skills for business case development.
A high level of proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP/SRM, SAP /ECC, Power Bi, Power Apps, Microsoft Flow and be a quick study on other systems as needed.
Self-starter with growth mindset, willing to experiment with new ideas.
Effective customer service and problem resolution independent of manager's availability or coaching whenever necessary.
Familiar with regulatory compliance requirements and regulations

The base pay for this position is $50,000.00 – $100,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
