Job Description:

Our work depends on an IMPC joining our team to provide regulatory guidance and compliance in regards to all of the division's accountable property matters.

HOW A SUPPLY TECHNICIAN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Travel around the Washington Metro Area is necessary on a daily basis, to include visiting several buildings in a day
● Will interact with accountable officers and responsible officers to ensure compliance and to gain access to vaults and data centers throughout the Washington Metro Area in an effort to inventory all assets
● Contractor will go out on a daily basis to inventory assets by scanning bar codes on specific items in specific vaults assigned for that day. They are expected to work as part of a team and have a sense of autonomy in making decisions while out in customer spaces
● The nature of the work is primarily scanning assets and providing inventory management and customer service in regards to accountable property. The contractors will have full autonomy to make decisions while in the field scanning assets and are expected to inform the entire office of events that unfolded throughout the day. The team is expected to send out scan reports and data at the end of every work day to the entire group and to the specific customer they provided scanning efforts for that day
● Contractor may be expected to provide training to new contractors arriving to the office and serve as a responsible officer on each of the 40+ customer codes throughout the sponsor branch in an effort to update asset tracking software records on behalf of the customer base

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: High School Diploma/GED
● Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience
● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly
● Required Skills and Abilities: Verbal and written communication skills, Excel knowledge
● Location: Springfield, Virginia
● US Citizenship Required

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $38.25 - $51.75. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
