INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the COMBAT SYSTEMS SUPPORT DIRECTORATE, RANGE AND SIMULATION DIVISION of COMNAVSPECWARDEVGRU. Responsibilities You will use standard requisition mechanisms and the Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) for procurement and supply actions. You will manage inventory database of all camera, audio, recording, actuating, and computer equipment associated with Close Quarter Combat Range (CQCR) systems. You will serve as the division’s focal point for purchase and inventory of hazardous materials (HAZMAT), maintenance of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), recycling of lead and brass, and documentation for removal of range residue. You will manage expendable property (target fabrication material, office supplies, fabricated targets, parts, etc.) by working closely with range supervisors to determine requirements and ensuring adequate supplies are on hand for squadron training. You will conduct liaison and acquisition efforts with DoD and Interagency graphic design partners to design realistic targets and training aids that meet Squadron requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing life cycle cost analyses of supplies and materials; providing information for the acquisition and use of funds; providing advice relative to supply and/or property management; and formulating budget.
