About the Position: This is an Inventory Management position at Blue Grass Army Depot, KY. Responsibilities Conducts projects and studies related to the execution of the quality control programs for inventory control and receipts functions. Reviews adjustments to records for accuracy and completeness. Participates in planning and determining current and future supply requirements to meet customer needs for items of low and medium monetary value. Provides assistance for lower graded personnel. Communicates assignments and timelines to team members for completion. Participates in systems analyses of programs and problems associated with supply systems. Analyzes rejected transactions to determine systemic causes. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes completing a variety of inventory operations tasks such 1) Monitoring inventory record systems for accuracy.2) Recommend corrective actions for inventory discrepancies3) Assist management with the developing inventory management policies and procedures for the organization. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
