Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will participate in system analyses of programs and problems associated with supply systems. You will review and analyze information from automated systems to determine overall supply effectiveness. You will initiate corrective actions to eliminate systemic deficiencies. You will participate in the development of training materials and will train users in the use of new and enhanced automated systems. You will conduct projects and studies related to the the execution of quality control programs for inventory control and receipt functions. You will perform special studies relating to the receipt, issue, storage and control of stocks. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to understand interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to supply/warehousing and handling material; Experience in analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, assess, and resolve issues/problems of a procedural or factual nature and experience conducting research within Global Combat Supply Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) or other computer database. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Applicants may also qualify based on education OR a combination of education and experience, in lieu of the one year specialized experience listed above, through ONE of the following: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related A combination of specialized experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal 100 percent. Additional Information This announcement uses the Defense Industrial Base, Major Range and Test Facilities direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.
