Inventory Manager
**Heat up your career and join a leading HVAC Manufacturer as an Inventory Manager!** **Position Summary:** The **Inventory Manager** will oversee and manage all warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate shipment, requisition, and storage of materials, supplies, and equipment. This role will be pivotal in improving inventory accuracy within the Lewisburg, TN Distribution Center and addressing discrepancies. The Inventory Manager will collaborate closely with the inventory control team, researching and resolving inventory issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring smooth material flow. Additionally, they will assist in the physical inventory execution and work to reduce transactional errors that impact overall warehouse efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Inventory Control and Accuracy:** + Research and resolve inventory discrepancies that occur in the distribution center, focusing on both stock discrepancies and transactional differences. + Perform detailed root cause analysis for cycle count discrepancies to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions. + Investigate and resolve short order reports and apply necessary posting changes to ensure inventory records are accurate and up-to-date. + Address and resolve bin-level inventory issues and work with the inventory control team to maintain proper stock levels and product location. + **Cycle Counting & Physical Inventory:** + Assist with the execution of physical inventory counts to ensure that stock levels are accurate and that inventory discrepancies are minimized. + Support cycle counters with 6S audit issues and ensure compliance with company standards for warehouse organization and cleanliness. + **Reporting & Data Analysis:** + Provide daily reports to the Inventory Supervisor on actions taken, resolutions to discrepancies, and recommendations for process improvements. + Utilize reporting templates to track and communicate the status of inventory adjustments, providing feedback to improve inventory management practices. + Analyze inventory trends and offer data-driven solutions to enhance accuracy and efficiency within warehouse operations. + **Inventory Adjustments & Escalations:** + Escalate significant inventory discrepancies or plant-level inventory adjustments to the Inventory Supervisor for further analysis and action. + Work proactively to prevent recurring issues by addressing root causes and identifying trends in inventory discrepancies. + **Customer Service & Collaboration:** + Foster a positive customer service experience when interacting with other departments and external customers, ensuring that all parties receive timely and effective assistance. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, manufacturing, and procurement, to ensure smooth material flow and accurate inventory management. + **Continuous Improvement:** + Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement within warehouse operations, inventory tracking, and cycle counting procedures. + Contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing inventory accuracy, reducing discrepancies, and enhancing operational efficiency. **Minimum Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or GED. **Preferred Qualifications:** + **Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications:** Strong skills in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting. + **Proficiency with SAP:** Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems is preferred. + **Organizational & Analytical Skills:** Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and analyze data to resolve issues. + **Problem-Solving Abilities:** Strong skills in identifying issues and implementing solutions to improve inventory accuracy. + **Self-Driven & Proactive:** Ability to work independently and take initiative to resolve issues or improve processes. + **Effective Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners. + **Team-Oriented:** Collaborative and willing to work with others on projects to ensure success. **Pay Details:** $24.86 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
