Inventory Officer and Assistant

1. Inventory Officer - Job Description:

Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems. Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports. Work closely with other departments (e.g., logistics, warehouse, sales) to coordinate inventory needs and support business operations. Implement inventory management best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards to improve efficiency and accuracy in inventory control processes. Train and supervise inventory staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure compliance with inventory management policies and procedures. Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers. Processes and documents return as required following established procedures

2. ​​​​​​​Inventory Assistant - Job Description:

To assist the inventory officer with inventory management Taking orders for inventory, recording things that are received and removed from stock, and physically transferring merchandise from the inventory room to the sales floor and back again. Monitoring inventory levels and notifying supervisors when supplies are running low. Collaborating with team members to address inventory-related issues. Participate in regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records.
