Are you ready to make contributions that matter? Join us as an Inventory Optimisation & Forecasting Specialist and play a pivotal role in optimising our end-to-end inventory. In this dynamic position, you will analyse inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement, predict future inventory needs, and implement cross functional continuous improvement initiatives. By developing and executing strategies to balance supply and demand, you will ensure optimal inventory levels and drive our success forward. This role has a direct impact on business performance, impacting customer satisfaction and financial performance. You will also be responsible for managing cross functional Inventory Health reporting, metrics, and Improvements.
How you will make contributions that matter:
Developing a strong understanding end to end supply chain in our business from farm collection of milk right through to cash collection and how inventory plays that pivotal role of linking end to end.Analyse inventory data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement across both tactical and strategic time horizons.Predict future inventory needs based on sales data, market trends, and historical data to support IBP and Financial forecasting.Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Planning, Finance and Customer Supply Chain teams.Responsible for facilitating visibility of and corrective actions to improve business wide Inventory Health.Develop and execute strategies to optimize inventory levels, ensuring a balance between supply and demand.About you:
We’re looking for someone with:
Tertiary studies in commerce, business, finance, supply chain, or a related discipline.Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the dairy/food industry, within planning/finance/analytics.Excellent analytical ability: SAP experience and advanced Excel skills are essential.Strong business acumen and commercial partnering aptitude.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead across multiple functions.Self-driven and proactive in improving and enforcing business systems and controls.Experience within demand or supply planning functions would be highly regarded.We’ll support you with
