If you’re looking to fill your glass with opportunity, come join our FAMILY. **Overview** The Inventory Optimization Analyst will be responsible for providing advanced level support and implementation that will lead to organizational improvements. They will optimize existing processes and resources with clear goals and benchmarks of improvement, development, and management of sound business practices. They will also engage with other functions and stakeholders to understand current and future business requirements, strategically plan and provide support and recommendations to balance supply and demand across the country, while optimizing ordering groups and network lanes. **Primary Responsibilities** + Implement and enforce Supply Chain inventory improvement programs and policies + Review and maintain the regional network to optimize inventory/distribution costs and service, considering business evolution, risks, and opportunities + Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and implement solutions to solve business challenges + Work collaboratively with supply chain partners to develop and implement effective inventory management and purchasing practices + Oversee the effective and efficient execution of inventory optimization activities including sourcing strategy and maintenance/validation of system parameters + Develop, design, and manage efficient processes and analytics that will lead to automation and continuous improvement + Act as the trusted source of truth for inventory optimization processes, strategy and implementation + Drive continuous improvement in inventory optimization activities, pursuing opportunities to adjust inventory levels and reduce associated costs + Perform other job-related duties, including preparing training material and providing mentoring and support to other analysts to assist in their development surrounding data, processes, reporting and utilizing self-service tools **Additional Primary Responsibilities** **Minimum Qualifications** + **Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent** + **5 years or more of working experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Logistics** + Comprehensive Knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain concepts and understanding of interdependencies between demand, supply, and operations + Experience with JDA/Blue Yonder and SAP; the role will require developing high proficiency in JDA/BY and SAP systems for analysis and execution + Thorough analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills + **Microsoft Office – Excel & PPT (advanced)** + Collaborative skills to work effectively across functions and departments + Excellent written and verbal communication skills **Physical Demands** + Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device + Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping + May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs **EEO Statement** Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, an Affirmative Action/EEO employer, prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
