The Purchasing Department is hiring an Inventory Planner who will play a key role in Imperial Dade’s success by ensuring routing optimization and integrity across our multiple-site distribution network. 

 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000

Responsibilities

You will:

Analyze and forecast sales and inventory needs at the item/location level for key items to ensure optimal inventory and safety stock levels and providing order plans to the buyers. Utilize historical, seasonal and current selling trends to determine product needsCollaborate with members of our Buying team to better understand our products, our customer’s needs, and the relationships in place with our source suppliers.Create and maintain item plans for customer programs deemed critical Forecast sales and inventory needs in alignment with company strategiesBuild all new Victoria Bay transitional codes on ladder plans and layer in history of its replacement item codesWork with counterpart teams on capacity challenged warehouses. Suggest items to move to temporary off-site storage location and advise on expected transfer back dates if applicableRefine existing tools and methods to continually improve forecasts and processes to proactively anticipate our customer’s needs and regularly communicate with Buying and counterpart teams Qualifications

You have:

 2 to 3+ years of experience in a related position (inventory, purchasing, supply chain) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceSolid knowledge of data analysis and forecasting techniquesAble to use logic and innovative methods to solve problems and identify effective solutions.Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
