The Inventory Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining period and yearly financial plans for FBA assigned categories/vendors, item planning and analysis to ensure merchandising and inventory plans are synchronized to achieve or exceed sales, inventory turns, margin and service level objectives. Additionally, the Inventory Planner is responsible for managing assortment operations and flow of inventory for FBA products to drive sales and profit and deliver superior customer experience.
What you’ll be doing:
Manage item set up and pack list creation for FBA shipments.Manage and optimize inventory levels across eMarketplace platforms, particularly Amazon and FBA through accurate forecasting and reacting to changes in sales trends, to ensure product availability and minimize carrying costs.Utilize planning tools to accurately forecast department and/or vendor level inventory $ on hand levels and turn, and achieve budgeted goalsProvide future purchase guidance to vendor partners based on forecasted demandPlace, track, expedite, and maintain purchase orders. Communicate and escalate critical vendor supply chain issues to minimize impacts to customer service Understand and action key daily reports such as daily out of stocks, projected active selling sku counts, and vendor/sku level inventory constraints or overstocksCreate department and/or vendor level sales and margin plans by analyzing trends and accounting for incremental activity such as promotions, seasonality, pricing elasticity etc.Manage 3PL performance related to the receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory for eMarketplace platforms.Facilitating overage, shortage, damages of 3PL in co-ordination with the inventory audit & other cross functional teamsDevelop new and creative ideas aimed at optimizing inventory to increase turn and maintain high service levelsCollaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory and operations.Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance operational efficiency and eMarketplace performanceWhat you bring to the table:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience2+ years of progressively complex experience in inventory management, operations, or a related field, with specific experience in eMarketplace platforms, particularly Amazon and FBA.What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in scaling inventory in Marketplaces specifically Fulfilled by AmazonCertification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.Experience managing cross-functional projects in eMarketplace operations.We Offer:
