Inventory Planner

Our client is seeking an Inventory Planner to join their team. As an Inventory Planner, you will be part of the Supply Chain Management department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Inventory Planner
**Location:** Hanover, PA
**What's the Job?**
+ Maintain perpetual inventory records for all steel, wire, and raw materials at the Hanover Manufacturing location.
+ Perform and assist in physical counts of raw work in process and finished material.
+ Prepare reports of inventory balance and shortages while investigating discrepancies.
+ Generate receiving documents and back order receiving sets for production departments.
+ Collaborate closely with Production Planners to provide accurate inventory information.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School education or equivalent, with the ability to understand, read, and write English.
+ Proficiency in using accounting equipment such as adding machines and calculators.
+ A minimum of three years of related experience in clerical methods and office practices.
+ Good typing skills for the use of computer terminals, with a focus on accuracy.
+ Ability to perform arithmetic operations with precision.
