Inventory Planning Team Lead SEA

Responsible to manage SEA inventory and production planning team in forecasting, planning, replenishment to ensure optimize safety inventory level for raw materials and finished goods. Including minimizes slow moving and obsolete inventory of each country.

You Will Make an Impact By:

Actively participate in monthly S&OP meeting to lead forecast vs supply review and manage reconcilement with responsible Sales teamMonitor and control STO/PO and liaise with manufacturers/suppliers to ensure on-time production and shipments/deliveries are arranged per standard lead time or expedited as per agreed dateManage overall inventory to ensure optimum level according to all inventory KPIs e.g., inventory target, SMNM target, DIO, IRC, etc.Monitor and control aging stocks, slow-moving and non-moving items, and plan for proactive actions in order to prevent excess stocks and minimize inventory disposalMonitor and control disposal of expiry and non-moving inventory as per agreed timeline and accordance to internal procedure.Manage appropriate stocking strategy, ordering policy, and replenishment plan to ensure supply reliability within inventory budgetsPeriodic review and clean up master data to ensure all planning parameters are up-to-datedLiaise with relevant stakeholders in case of quality issues related materials/products under own responsibilityManage product shelf-life review and perform shelf-life extension timely following to written proceduresSupport new material extension request and suggest supply source for cost/logistics competitive perspectivesLiaise with stakeholders in case of Atotech product label inquiriesShare best practices and interacting with counterparts across the region and globallyPerforms other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned or requiredAdditional responsibility: “Safety remains the number one priority by making it an integral part in all activities; Ensure all work is completed safety & in compliance with laws, regulations & Atotech standards. Demonstrate ongoing visibility at sites & consistent interaction with staff and contractors at all levels”.

Skills You Bring:

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or any related fieldsMinimum 7 years of experience in material management and supply/inventory planning role, chemical industry is preferredStrong knowledge of SAP MM module and Office software esp MS Excel, experienced in IBP or any demand/supply planning tool is a plusGood command of spoken and written communication skills in English and local language(s)Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourcefulness and adaptabilityAbility to coordinate across functions and locations to ensure successful outcomesEffective time management skills including sequencing of own work and resource time managementStrong analytical and logical thinking, decision making skillsAbility to drive and coordinate inventory planning related projects including system enhancement
