Inventory Specialist

Ecolab, the global leader of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking an Inventory Specialist This role is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, preparation, and shipping of all customer orders. Additionally, the role is responsible for accurate material handling and cycle count functions.

What You Will Do:

Perform cycle counts as assigned.Responsible for organizing the daily workloadUtilize appropriate technology and tools to facilitate inventory control activities, cycle counts, monitor warehouse activity Koerber reports.Completes daily cycle counts by performing initial & secondary counts, researching and validating all inventory variances, causes for follow-up actions and reviewing the weekly inventory adjustments reports with managersHandles all scrap and obsolete inventoryManages the PO discrepancy process by reviewing all reported shortages, overages and damages. Works with purchasing for resolutionOther duties as assignedMaintain the 5S cleanliness of the picking area Follow all safety procedures and policies Follow all warehouse procedures and policiesOther duties as assigned

Position Details:

Plant location: Winston - Salem NC Work week and shift: 1 shift Monday - Friday Compensation package offered: $20.00

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED1 year of Previous plant or warehouse experience1 year of Previous forklift operating experienceNo immigration sponsorship offered for this role 

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift/carry 50lbsMust be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent communication and time management skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a team
