As the inventory coordinator, you will work closely with the General Manager and Maintenance Manager to keep accurate inventory through cycle counts and maintaining the order process. You will be involved with running weekly reports, coding all invoices, entering purchases into spreadsheets, receiving and putting away orders, and working on special projects with our production and operations teams. What we do
The Inventory Specialist is part of the Customer Operations organization which is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of Symbotic’s robotic material handling system. The Customer Operations organization drives operational excellence by engaging and partnering with our onsite customers to drive best-in-class quality, safety and system performance.
What you’ll do
Accurate Inventory which includes cycle counts and make necessary adjustments. Adjustments include positive and negative parts adjustments or location adjustments.
Ensure that the bins and parts are labeled accurately.
Maintain correct pricing per vendor and updates all obsolete part numbers.
Update and set minimum and maximum parts level.
Put away parts in their correct location from daily shipments.
Maintaining orders which will include from time of the order request, quote (if applicable), adding orders into Micro Main, tracking and receiving.
If necessary, follow up on all types of orders such as emergency, from ordered parts, repairs and service calls.
Maintain corrections to work orders.
Update daily and weekly reports.
Work on special projects like assisting production and operations with orders other projects include Cintas, UPS/FedEx Shipments and deliveries, and distribution of Maintenance mail.
Work closely with financial and purchasing common goals.
What you’ll need
High School Diploma or GED.
Associates or Bachelors preferred.
Strong organizational skills.
Work effectively within a team environment and possess good communications skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to solve problems.
All Symbotic employees are required to make safety their top priority.
Our Environment
There will be steep stairs to climb into the structure.
You will regularly be near railings that are high off the ground.
Subject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes. Must be capable of working in temperatures ranging from 105° to 32° Fahrenheit.
If the site location is in construction, you will be required to wear proper PPE (hard hat, safety vest, steel toes, eyeglasses, ear protection, fall protection (e.g., safety harness).
Frequent ability to safely and efficiently lift items weighing up to 50lbs and move items weighing up to 80lbs.
Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours and is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is routinely required to work at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches. to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be capable of occasional and/or continuous feeling, seeing, hearing, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, balancing, gripping, climbing, crawling, sitting, handling objects, and repetitive movement using both hands and feet. Must comply with all safety requirements and protocols, including without limitation Lock out tag out safety protocols and fall protection safety protocols.
The base range for this position in Woodland, California is $24.00-$25.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
