**Inventory Specialist: 1st Shift, Pay $20+hr Weekly Pay**
**Must be experienced in cycle counting**
**Job Description**
The Inventory Specialist accurately and safely distributes material internally and externally to the facility in an efficient and expeditious manner. This role is responsible for stocking, inventory management, and handling of all manufacturing materials. It requires accurate counting and kitting of materials, as well as the ability to follow written and verbal directions and communicate effectively with team members both orally and in writing.
**Responsibilities**
+ Accurately handle transactions and physical movement of material in and out of the stockroom
+ Responsible for accurate inventory level management
+ Maintain cycle counts and a clean warehouse
+ Accurately kit all work orders
+ Assist in all WIP movement and transactions
+ May assist with shipping/receiving/packaging as needed
+ May drive company truck and/or forklift
+ Perform other duties as required
+ Attendance is an essential duty of this position
**Essential Skills**
+ 1-2+ years of recent experience performing inventory in a high-volume manufacturing, stockroom, or warehouse environment
+ 1+ year experience in any type of material distribution environment, especially supporting manufacturing
+ Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
+ Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts and weekend days as needed
+ Comfortable using a computer for inventory and parts entry into ERP/MRP systems
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Warehouse experience to support a manufacturing environment
+ SAP experience or proficiency with any ERP/MRP system
+ Experience with data entry of parts information
+ Ability to perform cycle counts
+ Proficiency with computer skills

**Work Environment**
The work environment is well-lit, clean, and air-conditioned. The shift for this position is 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm) with availability for up to 10-12 hours a day, including weekends as needed. The warehouse is air-conditioned, but you must be comfortable working partially outdoors. Physical demands include the ability to exert up to 45 pounds of force occasionally, 25 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly. The role requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting up to 50 lbs. You must be able to stand and bend intermittently, have visual acuity for assigned tasks, and be subject to frequent interruptions and noise levels. There may be exposure to hazards such as electrical currents, moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and debris. Personal protective equipment is required.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00
