Inventory Specialist

Work EnvironmentWork hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility. This position is 100% work from home with equipment provided. Qualifications
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing, inventory, or purchase orders
+ Intermediate MS Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables)
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Understanding of supply chain concepts
Job Description
This person will be responsible for managing aged inventory, updating system notes, following-up on outstanding items, and updating daily reports. Additionally, the role includes providing out of office coverage for the drop ship teams.
Responsibilities
+ Proactively work to reduce on-hand aged inventory
+ Manage existing aged inventory by working closely with the sales organization and buyers
+ Maintain daily Purchasing Operations reports, ensuring all data is up to date and accurate
+ Provide out of office coverage for drop ship/purchasing team
+ Update reports and maintain aging reports
+ Respond to sales requests
+ Provide administrative/clerical support to buyers
+ Handle minimal purchasing duties with the potential for more responsibilities after gaining experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
+ Experience using Power BI
+ Experience supporting sales teams
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00
