Inventory Specialist Job Number: 355006 Category: -Software & Systems SBU Description: An Inventory Specialist job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati (Evendale), OH (100% in person role). This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have 2 years of inventory/asset management experience with a Security+ or higher certification and an active DOD clearance. You will be involved in all aspects of asset management and procurement processes that impact IT Operations. Job Duties: Responsibilities: · Assist in the generation of ATO and SSP documents · Follow all inventory standard operating procedures and look for areas of improvement · Lead/partake in all meetings around inventory and procurement · Work within ServiceNow on updating assigned tasks and all areas of the CMDB around asset management · Receive and inventory all hardware deliveries · Work with IT Operations around all aspects of asset management · Work with vendors based on hardware needs · Work with our Service Desk team on needed tasks Required Qualifications: · Minimum 2 years' experience owning with asset management · Experience with the procurement side of the business is a huge plus · A strong understanding of IT Operations processes · Experience working within ServiceNow or other ITSM products · A very strong attention to detail and organization in a fast-paced environment · Experience with warehouse slotting is a plus · A desire to push for process improvement and take the role to the next level · A understanding of IT Service Desk support and IT knowledge is a huge plus · Must have a current CompTIA Security+ or the ability to obtain one within 90 days · Must have a DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one · Must be able to work onsite 100% of the time in Evendale, OH · Must be US Citizen We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $55,000 to $70,000.
