Inventory Specialist

**Job Description** :
Indorama Ventures- Indovinya is currently looking for a dynamic individual to work as an Inventory Specialist at our Pasadena, TX location. In this role, you will maintain accurate inventory at all 3rd party storage locations and plant materials including utilities, ensuring that all records are received and reported in a timely manner during the financial month. Manage oversite of lot management for 3rd Party and plant production. Perform batch ticket/production order review for Pasadena plant and perform transactions for batch tickets for tolling locations. Perform monthly inventory reconciliations at 3rd Party and plant location. Investigate variance if any. Oversee aged inventory at all Indorama warehouse locations under Oxiteno legacy. Maintains effective communication between sister regions and the US to provide visibility on inbounds.

+ Ensure communication and information provided for demand management will positively affect Indorama order fulfillment process.
+ Propose alternatives, solutions, and optimization ideas not previously foreseen.
+ Build sustainable relationships, and trust with internal and external customers (3rd party warehouses) through open and interactive communication.
**Operational excellence**
+ Collaborate with associates to improve efficiency, productivity, and processes.
+ Oversee KPIs related to area and ensure team synergy.
+ Submit inventory reconciliation stock adjustment form for all recommended inventory variance at plant and 3rd Party locations.
+ Analyze FIFO trend for plant and 3rd Party warehouses based on a combination of batch, spec and shelf-life criteria.
+ Ensure goods receipt and warehouse transfers with Customer Service, Sales, Logistics and Planning to assure 3rd party’s inventory is accurate within 48 hours of delivery while maintaining proper documentation records and OXUS QC-Lab approval.
+ Monitor all Indorama aged inventory with approved shelf life and lead out-of-spec inventory meetings to identify ways to reduce.
+ Align material transformation through batch ticket management process for all requested 3rd Party packaging and tolling requests.
+ Other projects as requested.
**Financial performance**
+ Identify situations in which we can optimize cost savings.
+ Analyze inventory transactions; Prepare reports based on this analysis.
+ Perform production volume report and update utilization % in Oracle.
+ Coordinate with other members of the finance, marketing, and supply chain team to review financial information and forecasts.
+ Work with Finance team to manage EOM (End of Month) accounting close period and investigates inventory discrepancies over approved tolerance levels.
+ Perform annual physical inventory audits of Pasadena plant and all third-party locations according to Finance controls and procedures.
**Quality**
+ Manage and optimize all process under your responsibility taking into consideration Quality, Legality and Food Safety (if applicable) and client needs on Indorama’s products and services.
+ Guarantee all documentation under your responsibility updated and available for consulting.
+ This position has the authority to stop the process while within your scope of work if any problems were detected that affect regulation, quality, food safety, or the requirements of Indorama’s customers or products and services.

+ Able to clearly communicate ideas with the group.
+ Proactively communicate with Sales, Operations, Logistics, and other areas to ensure clear and timely communication affecting product availability.
**What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?**
+ Undergraduate Degree (Supply Chain, Accounting, Engineering, Finance or Business Administration preferred) or complimentary industry experience.
+ Two years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics related field.
+ Two years of accounting month end close procedure.
+ Additional supply chain related certifications a plus.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to read, speak, and write English.
+ Ability to read, interpret, and create documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals.
+ High proficiency in Microsoft applications, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team. Ability to speak and communicate well with customers.
+ Oracle ERP (or similar ERP) knowledge a plus.
+ Multicultural work environment experience a plus.
+ Bilingual a plus.
