Overview Reports directly to Supply Manager. Monitors/maintains an accurate, and up-to-date inventory control system. Monitors/check daily GCSS-Army operation. Control and verify all data input into GCSS-Army system. Produce management reports. Process supported customers request into the system. Coordinate system workload. Maintains perpetual inventory system ensuring the inventory is completely counted monthly and quarterly. Generally, monitors stock control activities and provide technical assistance. Responsibilities Manage stock control operation and daily GCSS-Army operation such as: Inventory, receipts, monitor warehouse activity monitor for overdue transfer orders and put away tickets daily. Prepare and monitor daily workload for section Maintains an accurate and up-to-date control of files on daily basis. Control and verify all data input into GCSS-Army. Produce and analyze management reports. Provide technical assistance to warehouse staff and customers as required Maintain equipment tracking system. Works with and in conjunction with other departments to accomplish all required tasks. Monitors and evaluates work performance of the employees to ensure they are in compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and all regulations pertaining to their assigned duties. Ensures that employees are always in compliance with established Safety Policies and Regulations. Ensures safeguarding of all Army goods, property and equipment. Implements Work Performance Training when required. Performs other duties and assignments as required. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. High School Graduate, Associate degree or Bachelor’s Degree Experience: 5 years’ experience in Military SSA Warehousing and Logistics. Minimum of 4 Years’ experience with current USG AIS (GCSS-Army), required in an advanced role (lead, foreman, etc.) Minimum of 4 Years’ experience with Military Standard Requisition and Issuing Procedures (MILSTRIP) or equivalent civilian program is required Clearance/License: A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and Host Nation Driver’s License are required. Must be able to obtain and Maintain USG Network access & CAC privilege(s). Skills: Must be able to operate material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, man lift etc. Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and storage requirements to meet compatibility of products based on hazard class is required. Leadership and management skills, including a professional demeanor, are required. Strong interpersonal skills are required. Ability to exercise discretion and good judgement is required. Ability to prioritized responsibilities to handle a demanding workload is required. Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required. Advance ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written form is required. High-level organizational and planning skills, so that workflow is managed and accurate is required. Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook and ALL Microsoft applications is required. GCSS-Army knowledge and experience to include providing a training certificate WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Indoor and/or outdoor warehouse environment with adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, rain & humidity). Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Must be physically capable of lifting 30 pounds a vertical distance of four feet and carrying this weight a horizontal distance of 25 feet. May be required to work an uncommon schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to work extended hours and evenings, as mission requires. Must have professional appearance Required to observe all safety, security, fire, and health requirements for office, warehouse, and outside environment Working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes but is not limited to. head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
