Inventory Supervisor - Miami, FL
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the inventory function for the production and/or warehouse facility. Direct supervisor over inventory clerks and coordinators. Typically reports to Plant or Warehouse Manager or Inventory Manager at large facility.
ScheduleFull-Time5 days that include weekends/holidays as needed, usual schedule is Sunday through Thursday Start time 4am until finish. Inventory days start time will be at 1am until finish.Position Responsibilities:
Submit request for materials, prepare purchase orders, track purchases and suppliesSchedule incoming and outgoing shipments both intercompany and external suppliersWork with operations team to review inventory strategies for maximum efficienciesManage damage and returned productMonitor Inventory expiration dates for obsolesce avoidance and provide corrective action.Manage distressed inventory and short dated productResponsible for inventory/material dispositionsMonitor completeness, accuracy, and compliance during inventory transactions.Oversee purchase orders, data entry, and shipping and receiving of materialsLead and supervise inventory team, resolving problems, conducting training and setting schedules.Track, audit, and ensure adequate supply of inventory throughout the organization.Lead the planning/organization of physical inventoriesAct as a liaison to other departments (Systems/Purchasing/Production)Communicate with production team about current stock and potential issues with ordersConduct daily analyses to forecast potential inventory issuesReport on inventory activities and variancesConduct and report on inventory cycle countsDevelop and implement inventory control procedures and best practicesKeys to success in this role include skills, knowledge and behaviors in the following areas:Confidence, integrity and an autonomous mindset with the ability to work independently and strive to win, even in challenging environmentsAbility to comprehend and follow work instructions and calibrate instrumentation Team-player attitude with well-developed interpersonal skills and comfort in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment.Mechanical orientation with the ability to solve problems and implement change Total Rewards Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factorsBenefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage ReimbursementAnnual bonus based on performance and eligibility Requirements 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse/distribution center operations preferred2 years of experience in inventory control 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)2 years of experience using SAP or a similar system Company OverviewKeurig Dr Pepper (KDP) is a leading coffee and beverage company in North America with dual headquarters in Burlington, MA and Plano, TX, with annual revenue in excess of $11 billion.
